The traditional dinnerware for children in India is stainless steel, which Manasa’s mom reminded her of when she replaced all of Manasa’s twin’s plasticware with stainless steel during a visit. Manasa began searching for stainless steel sets online and found that they were boring, especially for kids. Manasa’s passion for children’s health runs deep as she is first and foremost a Pediatrician. Therefore, she was inspired to embark on the journey of starting Ahimsa - colorful stainless steel dinnerware sets for children. Now with a team of five, Ahimsa has sold over 1,400 sets in over 32 states.
