Kurt Phillips is an Indy staple – he owns City Way Animal Clinics, which will be opening it’s newest location in Irvington in May, co-founded Square Cat Vinyl in Fountain Square, and most recently, started a passion project called All Decades Club that connects men of all ages. And yet, in a time of COVID-19, it's not just his businesses that have been impacted. Kurt shares how it felt to have both his wife and him experience COVID-19 symptoms, and how they both implemented yoga, meditation, breathing techniques and fresh air to speed their recovery. And it was important for Kurt to get better – as a veterinarian since 1996, he’s very much an essential worker. “To be essential is something I’m very proud of, but it worries me and our team every single day.” Once this is all over, expect to find Kurt at one of his favorite spots around town - Union 50 and the Dugout. In the meantime, listen through to the end to get Kurt’s music, movie, TV, and book recommendations!
