"You're getting healthy and happy all in one sip," with Simplicity Cold Pressed Juice and Cocktails, founded by Beth McCarthy Smith. When it comes to cleaning up your digestive system and having life balance, Beth knows her sh*t. Around sixteen years ago, Beth started a long, frustrating journey of fertility treatments and miscarriages right after having her first baby girl. It was until she was undergoing bloodletting by an 8th generation acupuncturist that she learned, "Your blood too thick, too thick!" She went to her doctor crying and was prescribed to clean her colon. Although unpleasant, it worked. At 39, she had a baby boy and became pregnant again soon after. Motivated to maintain her healthy lifestyle and digestive system by colon cleansing and drinking juices, she decided to open the first closed colon hydrotherapy system business in Indy when she moved. Her clients would ask about what they should eat after their sessions, so she began making them juices. As one would think, poop and juice should not mix, so Beth opened a dedicated juice shop that eventually became her sole focus - Simplicity Cold Pressed Juice and Cocktails.
